How donations make a difference
Spreading your donations across the year helps us to plan our finances. Regular donations contribute to our basic costs by providing a home for the helpline and allow us to plan and develop our services to reach more children of alcoholics.
You will be entitled to vote at the AGM, to become a trustee and to take an active role in Nacoa’s future. You will receive newsletters and publications together with regular updates of Nacoa’s work, and invitations to events including the annual David Stafford Memorial Lecture and our Volunteers Awards Evening.
If you pay tax through PAYE (Pay As You Earn), Payroll Giving is a tax efficient scheme that allows you to make regular donations to Nacoa from your salary direct and because your donation is taken out before tax, a £10 a month donation will actually only cost you £8.
Payroll Giving allows you to make regular donations to charities of your choice directly from your earnings or company or personal pension.
More information can be found at the HMRC website.
