Nacoa stars Owen and Louis join Chef Michel Roux, Olympic rower Katherine Grainger and former footballer Michael Owen (along with over 37,000 others) in the 2014 London Marathon.
The famous race takes entrants on a gruelling 26.2 mile route through the capital, mainly around the river Thames and finishing by Buckingham Palace.
We thank Owen and Louis for all their hard work in training and gathering sponsorship and wish them all the best for race day. To help motivate them over the finish line, show your support by sponsoring Louis or Owen.
If watching the marathon has left you feeling inspired, sign up to do a sponsored event for Nacoa and help us continue to provide a lifeline for children affected by parental alcohol problems. Keep an eye on the London Marathon website for details of next year’s ballot to see if you can get a place or visit Running Bug to find an event near you.
People collect sponsorship for all sorts of challenges: from a sponsored walk, run, cycle, swim or horse ride to shaving your head, having a bath in baked beans, losing weight or giving up something you love such as alcohol, chocolate or TV. Perhaps you even have a hairy chest that could use a wax? The only limit is your imagination!
